ECT Machine

ECT, short for Eddy Current Testing, is a non-destructive testing method that uses electromagnetic induction to find leaks and detect surface or sub-surface defects in conductive materials. DLI's lance pipes are among the many products benefiting from inspection with this high-performance ECT machine.

Eddy Current Tesing

ECT machine works by continuously inspecting the lance pipe during production.

This allows for the early detection of surface defects like cracks, scratches and pits, as well as sub-surface defects that are not visible to the human eye.

Defective pipes are then identified and processed to ensure the final product meets high-quality standards.
