What We Can Offer?
Oxygen Lance Pipes for Silicon Metal Production

Daiwa Aluminum Lance is a lightweight and corrosion-resistant oxygen lance pipe with aluminum as the primary material.

It can be applied with or without a thick layer of refractory ceramic coating inside and out to enhance heat resistance when inserted into Submerged EAF.

Free from iron impurities, Daiwa Aluminum Lance Pipe is preferred for producing high-purity silicon metal, where oxygen lance pipes containing significant amounts of iron are ineffective.

* Note : The consumption rate of Daiwa Aluminum Lance varies widely depending on the conditions in which the lance is used.

Practical Applications

  1. Blow oxygen into the submerged electric arc furnace (Submerged EAF) to regulate flow temperature and reduce iron content in molten silicon.
  2. Facilitate the production of both high-grade and low-grade silicon metal.
  3. Highly preferred to be used when producing high-purity silicon metal where oxygen lance pipes that contain a significant amount of iron are not effective.

Advantages

Excellent Straightness

The aluminum alloy content in Daiwa Aluminum Lance is optimally adjusted, ensuring the straightness when being inserted into the bottom door of Submerged EAF.

Unyielding Hardness

Daiwa Aluminum Lance possesses high hardness, making it unlikely to bend or break under immense stress, due to the strict inspection of hardness tolerance following ISO 9001 rules.

High Heat Resistance

Refractory ceramic coatings inside and outside of Daiwa Aluminum Lance not only help to create a powerful shield between the molten silicon and the aluminum but also protect the pipe from scorching temperatures up to 2,000°C.
