Coating

Coating refers to the application of a layer of material onto the surface of an object or substrate. Similarly, coating on the surface of steel pipes refers to the application of a protective layer or material onto the exterior of steel pipes to enhance their durability, corrosion resistance, and performance in various environments.

The coatings are designed to provide a barrier against external elements such as moisture, chemicals, abrasion, and atmospheric conditions, thereby extending the lifespan of the steel pipes and maintaining their structural integrity.

In Daiwa Lance, ceramic coatings with exceptional high heat resistance capability are often directly applied onto the surface of oxygen lance pipes such as Calorized Lance Pipes, Thermic Lances, or Aluminum Lance Pipes.
