Scrap Cutting

Scrap cutting refers to the process of cutting and breaking down scrap metal into smaller, more manageable pieces. Recycling metals through the process of scrap cutting is an effective and economical method in the metallurgical industry.

In general, scrap cutting can be done for a variety of reasons, including reducing the size of the scrap for easier transportation, separating different types of metal, or preparing the scrap for recycling. Scrap cutting is an important part of the metal recycling process, as it allows scrap metal to be reused and repurposed, reducing waste and conserving resources.

The process of scrap cutting can involve various tools and methods, including mechanical shears, cutting torches, plasma cutters, saws, angle grinders, and Thermic Lances. The choice of tool will depend on the type of scrap being cut and the desired outcome.
