Hydraulic Press

A hydraulic press is a powerful machine that utilizes the principle of hydraulics to generate immense force. It consists of two interconnected cylinders, each fitted with a piston.  

How it works:

• Fluid Pressure: A fluid, typically oil, is pumped into the smaller cylinder.  
• Force Transmission: According to Pascal's principle, the pressure applied to the fluid in the smaller cylinder is transmitted equally throughout the fluid.  
• Force Amplification: As the fluid is transferred to the larger cylinder, the force is amplified due to the larger surface area of the piston in that cylinder. This amplified force is then used to perform various tasks.
