Night Markets in Viet Nam (Part 1)

It's always a good idea to spend our time walking around the night market, choosing lovely items and enjoying some delicious street food when travelling to a new place. Here are 3 of the most famous night markets in Vietnam, if you have the opportunity to try, don't miss it!

Ha Long Night Market 

This is known as the new night market in Viet Nam opened in early 2015 replacing the old night market in Bai Chay tourist area. Ha Long Night Market is located in an area with spacious and solid infrastructure. With the support of modern system such as concrete floors, lighting system, electric fan system, convenient parking and 24/24 security, Ha Long night market attracts quite a large number of tourists, the items sold here are mainly souvenirs, handicrafts, jewelries, and Quang Ninh specialties like seafood, live squid and dried squid, to name just a few.

Hoi An Night Market 

Hoi An Night Market is located on Nguyen Hoang Street, with nearly 50 stalls with all kinds of goods and beautiful handmade products. Visitors who come to Hoi An Night Market often choose to buy colorful lanterns, bracelets, cloth bags as gifts. Nearby is another bustling nightlife street with many specialties such as Cao Lau, Quang noodles, chicken rice at affordable prices. 

Phu Quoc Night Market 

Phu Quoc Night Market is located on the corridor of Bach Dang Street, running along the bank of Duong Dong River, with stalls moving from Dinh Cau night market (already closed) that adds more spacious and comfortable shops to serve the needs of customers. Fresh and processed seafood here are the most popular choices of tourists.
